Think of us as a gym for your soul. A community for students. A club house for creatives.The House of Darla is more than a 501c3 nonprofit organization. It's a movement, a collaborative, a community, a brand. A safe space for students to be a part of an environment rooted in care, compassion, support, resources and experiences to help cultivate themselves and their ingenuity, spark and explore their passions and purposes; while in turn inspiring and uplifting themselves and their communities. A place where creatives can come to bring their ideas to fruition, while offering opportunities for students to be engaged, engulfed , and inspired in. Join us as we embark on a journey to infuse all of our efforts, and experiences in the fruit of the spirit: Joy, peace, love, kindness, goodness, faithfulness..along with  honesty, accountability, responsibility, support and strength.  ​ Collaboration is key, and teamwork makes the dreamwork, thats why under the roof and inside the heart of The House of Darla, we pride ourselves on recognizing , respecting, accepting, and connecting with individuals of various backgrounds, demographics and rapports with a concentration on inner-city, minority and disenfranchised communities; to help fulfill our mission of creating youth led social enterprises embedded within communities that help  produce opportunities and experiences whether through the arts and entrepreneurship, financial literacy and life-skills, or enrichment and mentorship. ​ We're not perfect, we're just creatives aspiring to be and do better, while finding our happiness, sharing it with others, and giving it back to our families, friends, and communities. We do this by way of collaborating with other creatives , professionals, organizations  and businesses to offer: workshops, events, programming, products, services & activities that you can be proud of.  ​ We're into creating memories and feelings, providing the intangibles to help students and communities live and lead successful and self-actualized lives while giving back and helping others.  ​ We do the inner work. Challenging all to go within and heal so they can have happiness and peace throughout.
